Leave it blank and your space is public: it is listed under Active Public Spaces in the category you chose. Set a passcode and it becomes private: it is not listed anywhere, and people can only join with its Access Code and this passcode.

How do I start a room?
Tap "Reserve a Space" from the lobby, choose a name/topic/capacity, then share the access code it gives you with whoever you want to join.
How do I join someone's room?
Type the access code they gave you into "Access Code" on the lobby screen and tap Enter. If it's passcode-protected, you'll be asked for that too.
I'm not getting call/message notifications.
Make sure you tapped "Enable Notifications" and allowed the permission prompt. On iPhone, notifications only work if you've added Kasa to your Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and opened it from that icon - a regular Safari tab can't receive them at all, which is an Apple restriction, not a bug.
Who can call or message me?
Only mutual friends (you follow each other) can call you. Anyone can send a message request, but you choose to Accept or Block it.
How do I block or report someone?
Open Friends & Chats, find them, and use the three-dot menu (or the Block button on a message request) - Report and Block are both there.
